During the COVID-19 pandemic, concerns about attendance issues have become even more evident and widespread. This session provides participants with practical strategies to monitor and address student absenteeism across all grade levels.

Course Outline:

Participants will learn how to:

      • Effectively monitor and analyze attendance data.
      • Prioritize resources.
      • Implement schoolwide procedures to improve the attendance of all students.
      • Use function-based approaches to design effective intervention plans for individuals, whether in virtual, hybrid, or traditional brick-and-mortar settings.
      • Implement a number of interventions that address the most common functions of student absenteeism.
