Elizabeth Winford began her career as a Special Education paraeducator and then as a teacher. For more than 10 years, she has worked in a variety of secondary instructional settings—behavioral adjustment, content mastery, curriculum-based special education for math and English, and inclusion in core secondary subjects.
Early in her tenth year as a classroom teacher, she took a position as a regional educational consultant where she has been employed for more than seven years. Elizabeth presently works with campuses from around the north Texas region on a three-year cycle of developing and implementing positive behavior supports at the schoolwide, classroom, and individual student levels. She is passionate about school, staff, and student improvement with data-driven results.
